Poor to average at best
Bought this and swapped the blade out for an 80 teeth Saxon fin cut blade. The cuts were clean with minimal tear out using the einhell guide rails, BUT there is alot of blade wobble, hence really only suitable for rough / unfinished cuts. I also tried bevel / mitre cuts and the 45 degree cut wasn’t even close to being 45.Whilst the saw is compatible with the guide rail, the saw doesn’t come with any knobs to counter float unlike the einhell corded plunge saw and it’s much more reliable and about £20 cheaper. I’ll likely only use this saw for ripping down sheets so they fit in the boot as opposed to any accurate cutting tasks. So quite disappointed.

riving knife
Not a bad saw but myself not a keen lover of plastic knobs and lever’s as is the blade guard, but what let’s it down in my opinion is having no riving knife on the saw that has Jammed on several occasions. If I had known when it was first purchased, I would not of purchased the saw.

Dint believe the star rating!
I’ve have a few Einhell products and I’ve been caught out with the batteries. They are expensive and the smaller sizes are not powerful enough. The products themselves are pretty average. I’ve bought much cheaper kit on amazon of higher quality. Don’t believe the star rating.

Effortless cordless action!
I decided I wanted to board out the rafters of my garage to make a handy loft space. I popped down to B&Q and got some boards but needed a saw. I knew I couldn’t survive with just a jigsaw. I looked at a couple of Bosch models as I already have other things from them and it would save buying more batteries. Anyway, long story short this came up and as I already have their car polisher the battery thing wasn’t an issue for me.Well, it surpassed itself. I’ve never had a circular saw before but the way it went through the boards was effortless. I don’t imagine 18mm loft boards are much of a challenge but even so, I’m genuinely impressed. The batteries lasted very well too. I can’t recommend this highly enough. I’m after a new strimmer for my garden. I think I already know which one I’ll be buying!

It’s a toy!
I bought this as I own several Einhell corless tools already and they perform very well but this saw is useless unless you are cutting thin sheets. I saw the picture on the box of the guy cutting decking boards and that was exactly what i wanted it for but in practice it stalled several times and completely flattened a 4aH battery in about 10 minutes.

150mm blades difficult to find
I sent this back because after I bought it I tried to buy some additional 150mm replacement circular blades. Not only are 150mm blades difficult to find, the range of different teeth configurations you can get is poor at best. Let down by the absence of replacement blades. Not recommended

It’s OK but not great.
I wanted to love this saw but for the money it’s not that great I expect more power and I was only cutting quarter inch plywood so hard wood or kitchen worktops I don’t think this would be the saw even if you spent more money on a good blade with a high tooth count the saw itself is a bit heavy and not really balanced that well and my blade guard spring broke on the first use but the battery lasts a fair white and the chargers are fast the light at the front is good and over all the saw is OK just not great.

Plastic blade guard can cause problems
Bought elsewhere, the guard is one of the worst designs as it is not one piece – it has cutouts where the blade can jam or get caught on.Imagine approaching a workpiece and the blade guard doesn’t retract…yeah. To be fair, it worked fine for about ten hours of DIY use before I had to send an email to Einhell. They repaired/replaced it very quickly, so at least there’s that!Maybe this is why the guard is conveniently not pictured!Used for laminate flooring cutting, blade supplied, whilst not the finest, gives an ample clean cut for that purpose.

Great quality and good value
I have been using extensively over the summer on various projects and it has performed very well. Even using a 2Ah battery it lasts much longer than I imagined it would and with a 4Ah it goes all day (which probably equates to an hour of continuous use). Fits in well with my other products using the same battery system.

Blew My socks off
After weighing up all the brand names I decided to go with My gut feeling and bought several tools from the Einhell range, too say this is a bettery powered saw I was amazed how well it cut through 40 mm kitchen work top, i would say? More than a match for a DIYer.

Excellint Cordless Circular Saw from Einhell.
I purchased this 165mm Cordless Circular Saw Power X Change from Einhell. As I already have a number of the Power X Change Batteries for other tools I took a punt on this Saw. After using this saw recently on a project I find it it easy to use and cuts well. Would recommend if you already have Einhell Batteries.

Great saw for the price
This is my first circular saw and it’s probably one of the best bits of DIY kit I’ve bought. I bought an extra battery and upgraded the blade to an Evolution one. Very impressed with it. Occasionally jams but as another reviewer said if you let it get up to speed for a couple of seconds it whizzes through the wood with a nice clean line. I love the measure edge facility. Now owned this for 6 months and it has been put through it’s paces. 2m lengths of mdf and ply, joist timbers etc. handled all with ease. The 45 degree function works well too. I was originally going to get a makita to match my drills but my old batteries didn’t fit so opted for this more cost effective option. No regrets. buy with confidence!

Light and useful for me
I bought this as I have a log burner and as we have a lot of woodland around us I bought it for kindling wood. There is so much lying around and I laugh my head off at the extortionate prices one can be charged in the shops, even Tesco – £7.50 !! It’ll pay for itself in a month at that rate. It is very light and the battery has lasted fully charged for around 20 mins of use so far, spread over 2 weeks. I would say you must let the blade spin up to speed and then use, probably 2.5 -3 seconds, but that is worth it as otherwise the blade just stops. Overall for my use it is perfect. For bigger boughs you’ll need a chainsaw !

Good for DIY use.
I now have several Einhell power tools, and I’m really happy with them. This saw cut through the 38mm solid oak worktop offcuts I was installing in my workshop without any problems whatsoever.I bought the tool without a battery, as I already have several in different sizes. If you need a battery, I’d suggest getting a 4AH, as the saw takes a lot of juice, and the 2AH doesn’t last long. It takes the standard Einhell ‘Power X-Change’ batteries used by nearly all their other tools. It won’t take any other batteries – Makita, Bosch or Stanley won’t fit without an adapter.I chose the 150mm saw, as it’s a little easier to wield than the 165. To be honest, there isn’t much difference between the two – just the cutting depth, which is really only relevant if you are cutting on an angle. The thickest material I usually cut is 18mm MDF, so the 150mm is fine for my needs. The listing mentions the saw cuts at 90 degrees, but it does have a tilt function, and can cut up to a 45 degree angle. It comes with a basic guide fence, and has a channel in the bottom so it can follow a guide rail (not supplied).I was astonished how powerful this saw is. I used the blade that came with it, and made a few practice cuts first, assuming I’d need to make a few passes, increasing the depth each time. Nope. It will go straight through in one go, either ripping or crosscut. I haven’t even tried a new blade yet – the supplied one cut very cleanly. This tool is probably the least ‘Trade-quality’ in my small collection. Nevertheless, it’s serving me well so far, and for my occasional use fitting countertops and kitchen trim panels, and preparing the odd guitar blank, it’s perfectly fine. It’s safe, powerful enough to cut 38mm hardwood, and accurate.I find the depth adjustment feels a bit sketchy. It’s stiff to move and not very precise. It feels like it needs a screw adjustment to set the depth more accurately. Maybe I’m just asking a bit much – I’m used to precision router tables that I can adjust to fractions of a millimeter, and this is more at home on a building site, cutting joists and wall studs (which it’s great for, by the way).I also found that the index markings for setting the blade square to the baseplate are not very accurate. Be sure to check the blade is square before you cut – I ended up with a noticeable angle on my first cut.Something else I noticed – Circular saws are one of the very few tools that’s awkward to use as a left-handed person. You have to hold it with your left hand at the front and your right on the handgrip / trigger like a Righty. If you stand the other side of it, you get blasted in the face by the sawdust, and you are reaching over the blade.Speaking of sawdust, you can fit dust extraction really easily. I slid a piece of silicone radiator hose over the outlet and connected my shop vacuum to it. Job done. You really need extraction unless you are outside, as it produces a huge amount of sawdust and ejects it at high velocity up the sleeve of your dustcoat. The price is reasonable. I got my saw in the sale, and at that price I was very happy. The time it has saved me was worth the price, and the quality of the job was far higher than I’d have managed without it.

Fantastic
First circular saw and has been fantastic. Bought to cut some acoustic panels and was perfect for the job. Nice and compact. Initially thought the default blade might not have tpi but combined with the Einhell guide rail there was no chipping on the laminate at all.

This is a red devil, it cut through everything it touched. 4×4 posts 3×2 , battery life excellent and super fast recharge if you have all day to try and kill it. I never and I did try. Should paint yellow and call it dewalt. 💛

Excellent buy
My son lent me his makita battery powered saw to do some work. I found not worrying about a cable so useful I decided i needed one. Since I already had some einhell tools I went for theirs. So glad I did, really well designed and little details put it a step above the makita.
